Chief Architect

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze all applications moving into and out for Hardware/Software and application related design and architecture issues. Resources will work with each and every application to understand requirements and develop solutions
  • Work with every application with a Database and identify appropriate migration strategy. SOW resource should be familiar with databases and should be able to assist development teams in developing workable migration strategies
  • Develop end to end use cases to be tested. Use cases must include all telecom flows, products and services across the entire footprint
  • Develop solutions for the special projects that require applications to make changes to accommodate moving of the applications. SOW will need to understand the application and its constraints and accordingly develop solutions that will mitigate the challenges’’’

    Key Skills
  • Strong understanding of Mobile GSM & UMTS domain
  • Understanding of GSM and 3G domain from IT application perspective
  • Understanding of business processes for “ Order to Cash” and “Trouble to Resolve” cycles in Telecom
  • Understanding of handshakes of various OSS/BSS and Enterprise applications in Telecom domain from Integration and data model perspective.
  • Basic understanding of network support systems (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance, Security)
  • Experience in system design & engineering
  • Understanding of common system interfaces (ODBC, CORBA, SFTP, Webservices)
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Experience working with and creating Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and Data Flow Diagrams (DFD)
  • Understanding of basic Mediation/ETL functions
  • Experience with requirements gathering and analysis
  • Strong understanding of UML
  • Experience with Use Case Modeling
  • Understanding of database architecture (3NF & Dimensional Data Structures, OLAP, Star Schema)
  • Software development experience
  • Ability to analyze, design and manage large scale IT systems.
  • Good experience with developing solutions for large scale problems

Business Transformation Head

Jobs Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of GSM and 3G domain from IT application perspective
  • Understanding of business processes for “ Order to Cash” cycle in Telecom
  • Understanding of handshakes of various OSS/BSS and Enterprise applications in Telecom domain
  • Understand the context of change, and define the requirements to manage a successful change program. This includes leadership and governance, and stakeholders’ acceptance and communications, and performance support
  • Provide guidance in the development of orientation, training, performance support, and communication assets necessary for the change and leadership initiatives.
  • Manage progress of all Change Management sub-teams to ensure objectives are delivered on time and within budget. Understand and meet the expectations of customer.
  • Review and recommend resolutions/actions to project matters such as contingency plans, scope changes and issues.
    Ø Serve as the point of contact for the all sub-teams.
    Ø Serve as a strong bridge between Team Leads and the various other Team Leads in Technology/Systems and Change Management.
    Ø Advise Stream Heads and Program Manager on a variety of personnel and human resource issues, as well as hands-on management of the function.
    Ø Together with the Program Manager and Division Heads, analyze and identify skills gaps in the program/project teams.

Head O & M

Job Responsibilities

  • This position will lead the Operations and Maintenance team for the companies total outsourcing engagement with a new entrant in GSM market of India
  • The Operations head will be responsible for the entire NOC (including operations, recruiting, training, managing and motivating) in support of the rapidly-expanding customer base.
  • The Network Operations Centers will operate 24/7/365
  • Inter-working with cross-functional teams to define, propose, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Effectively develop and implement best practices processes and procedures for all aspects of a 24/7/365 TAC/NOC for Network Infrastructure products
  • Capable of leading the O&M team
  • Develop coverage plans to ensure staffing levels are adequate to support a 24/7/365 operation
  • Institute a center of technical expertise that provides quality support and resolution of customer reported events in a timely and effective manner
  • Adhere to all developed/contracted Service Level Agreements (SLA) in association with specific services/customers
  • Drive all necessary escalations, as required, through resolution
  • Prepare and deliver all reporting metrics in association with the 24/7/365 operations center
  • Incorporate all necessary product training and staff development to support changing and or new service offering
  • Ensure all operating policies and procedures are developed, maintained and adhered to by all operations staff, including customer sensitive data and security policies
  • Develop internal working SLAs to ensure Support Center Systems availability, to include redundant operations and disaster recovery procedures
  • Establishment of KPI’s to support O&M quality initiatives, technology and process audits, and optimisation application management.
  • Implement best-practice Policies and Procedures, Planning and Design techniques/tools in line with architectures and roadmaps
  • Identify and implement new methods of reducing CAPEX and OPEX costs (e.g. new technologies, network modifications etc) along with network engineering teams.
  • Build team by guiding and developing subordinates.


Key Skills:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science
  • 8-12 years of Senior Management experience with direct responsibility for a 24/7/365 Global Network Operations Center (Carrier and or Service Provider) - interfacing with field operations pre-post network live operations.

Asst Manager – IT (Infrastructure)

Job Responsibilities:

  • This profile focuses on handling IT infrastructure at Circle Office level. Ensure efficient work output through implementing cross functional relationships across the circle.
    IT-Infra support would be key in smooth business functioning at Circle Level and would have direct impact on functional performances at Circle Level. DGM/Sr. Mgr – IT (Voice Technology)

Job Responsibilities:
This profile focuses on setting up a Strategic Enterprise Customer Interface Application Environment encompassing Enterprise CRM within the Business Support Systems domain of IT. The responsibility would also require a thorough knowledge and experience of implementing and operating Voice Technology (IVR/ACD/EPABX/Logger) technologies especially in an outsourced environment.
This job would be the interface for various day to day operations at the governance level technology solution & services framework through successfully proven process models thus ensuring smooth functioning of all Telecom IT BSS Stake Holders.

Sr. Mgr – IT (System Admin)

Job Responsibilities:
This profile focuses on setting up Enterprise class Server Systems across the Data Centers encompassing all the relevant Operating Systems in use and planned. The job would require processes maintained for system performance (servers and storage), capacity monitoring, database management, operating system administration.

Ensuring design for growth, capacity monitoring/provisioning for any data surges in computation, storage and handling is key in this role.

Sr. Manager – IT (Planning)

Job Responsibilities:
This profile would work towards ensuring the service in IT for itself and its customers is delivered through secure & tight integration of IT processes/KPIs/SLAs/SLOs. The incumbent needs a clearly understand the GSM Telecom Business Process, Business Applications and IT and requirements arising out of the same from time to time for smooth scaling of systems to handle growth.

The profile would require to take inputs in a periodic manner not just in IT but across the functions eg. HR, Finance etc such that augmentation of hardware, software licenses etc could be incorporated with no shortfalls at any time being a Single Point of Communication as far as planning is concerned between the Partners and the Organization.

This profile focuses on Network Administration of IT environments, covering Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Directory Management, LAN (wired/wireless), WAN (wired/wireless), bandwidth management etc.
Ensuring design for growth, capacity monitoring/provisioning for any data surges in computation, Bandwidth and handling is key in this role.

Sr. Mgr – IT (EAI)

Job Responsibilities:
This job would be the responsible for integration of applications through Enterprise Middleware such as an Enterprise Application Interface (EAI). The profile would be responsible for ensuring the tight integration of applications across the Enterprise, forming a single interface for information translation, avoiding duplication of efforts and securing information integrity and uniformity.
